Kelley L Cox-US PRESSWIRE

The California Golden Bears are ready to move past their Big Game loss and get ready to take on the Utah Utes.

The California Golden Bears are in a tough spot now that they've fallen to 3-5 on the season. After getting thoroughly pummeled by archrival Stanford at home, the Bears have to rebound in a hurry if they hope to salvage any hopes of making a bowl game.

Indeed, the theme at Tuesday's press conferences appeared to be trying to move on and getting prepared for the Utah Utes, although it was hard to move past the discouraging defeat. Jeff Faraudo of Inside Bay Area files this report that has head coach Jeff Tedford detailing all the ways.

Cal will head on the road to Salt Lake City to try to once again pull closer to .500 on the season. Cal's final four games come against Utah, Washington, Oregon and Oregon State. The Bears need to win three of those contests to be eligible for a bowl contest. Considering their final two games are against top 10 opponents, their road to that path is not an easy one.
