The Kings have shipped out last year's No. 5 pick, along with Tyler Honeycutt and Francisco Garcia, and will receive Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and Cole Aldrich.

The Sacramento Kings got in on the trade deadline action on Wednesday night, but not in a way much of their fanbase appreciated. The Kings traded last year's No. 5 pick Thomas Robinson to the Houston Rockets — along with Tyler Honeycutt and Francisco Garcia — for third-year power forward Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and Cole Aldrich. The deal was first reported by Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski and confirmed by others soon after.

The Kings weren't rumored to be movers and shakers at this year's deadline, largely because of the pending ownership transition and the uncertainty with Tyreke Evans' free agency. Still, even if some expected a deal to happen, few could have foreseen the Kings trading away their most recent top-five pick for players who have been in the league longer and have proven little.

The Rockets also traded power forward Marcus Morris to the Phoenix Suns for a second-round pick, Wojnarowski reported.

Kings fans don't seem to be on board with general manager Geoff Petrie's latest move:

Beyoncé fans with no TV rejoice: the halftime show is streaming online.

The Super Bowl halftime show: For the non-sport fans out there, it's the best part of the big game. This year, Beyoncé is performing, and she seems to be pretty talented. Are you away from your TV on Super Bowl Sunday? Has some annoying person at your party decided to put on the Puppy Bowl rerun instead? Never fear!

You can find Beyoncé and whichever special guests she has in store online at CBS.com and NFL.com. Both sites will be streaming the halftime show live, so you don't have to miss a second of, probably, Crazy in Love — which would be ridiculous if Jay-Z didn't make a cameo — Single Ladies and maybe a Destiny's Child reunion for Survivor or Say My Name. Only time will tell.

One thing's for sure, unfortunately. There will be no flipping off of the camera. I'm not going to rule out a nipple slip, though.

The St. Louis Rams keep on unexpectedly winning, but their players are dropping like flies.

The St. Louis Rams won their third straight game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, but in the process lost defensive back Craig Dahl to a concussion and offensive lineman Rodger Saffold to a back injury. They were without oft-injured wide receiver Danny Amendola to start the game as well.

However, Jeff Fisher said Monday that he wouldn't be surprised if all three suited up in Week 15, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Saffold was able to return to the game, Amendola was able to do some on-field work before Fisher decided to hold him out and Fisher said Dahl felt "much better" Monday.

The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals each emerged from Week 14 unscathed in the injury report; the Cardinals, however, suffered an ACL tear of their emotions after getting beaten down, 58-0. The only lingering issue for the Seahawks after the blowout is defensive back Richard Sherman's four-game suspension appeal, which, if it lingers, could affect his availability for a playoff run.

Among the notable injuries heading into Week 15 games in the AFC West is Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe's rib injury, which will preclude him from playing again in 2012.

The injury bug didn't bite too many players in the AFC West in Week 15, but one former Pro-Bowler, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, will not play again this season. Head coach Romeo Crennel announced Monday that Bowe would miss the Chiefs' remaining games and may be done entirely in KC. Bowe is on a one-year deal and it may be time for a change of scenery, the Kansas City Star reports.

Elsewhere in the West, Demaryius Thomas, having an All Pro-caliber season with Peyton Manning at the helm for the Denver Broncos, left Thursday's game — but eventually returned — with an injured shoulder. He said he's 'fine,' though, and should be good to go for Week 15 on the road against the Ravens.

For the home team, Darren McFadden practiced Monday after tweaking his injured ankle Thursday night, and should be a go in Sunday's game. That's good news for Raiders fans who are tired of watching this team without its best player.

The Oakland Raiders were down by 10 points when the fourth quarter started, and despite losing wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey to a scary head injury in the final period, they came back to beat the PIttsburgh Steelers, 34-31, on a 43-yard field goal as time expired by Sebastian Janikowski.

Ben Roethlisberger was heroic in defeat, commanding the Steeler offense despite a complete lack of a running game, throwing four touchdowns in the first three quarters. He didn't turn the ball over despite throwing 49 times, but the Raiders — led by Carson Palmer, who was throwing darts in the second half — were too much for a depleted Steelers defense that was without Troy Polamalu and James Harrison.

Carson Palmer finished with 233 yards passing and three touchdowns, managing the comeback stupendously, including engineering the Raiders' final drive, putting Janikowski well within range to knock through the winning kick. The Raiders got their first win of the season in dramatic fashion, making rookie head coach Dennis Allen's seat just a little cooler. The Steelers fell to 1-2, and they can't wait to get Polamalu, Harrison and Rashard Mendenhall, especially, back.

Fantasy Stud: Roethlisberger, of course, who finished with a line of 384 yards, four touchdowns and threw in eight rushing yards to go along with it. The cherry on top? No turnovers. Honorable mentions: Carson Palmer (three touchdowns), Darren McFadden (112 yards, one TD), Heath Miller (two TDs) and Mike Wallace (eight receptions, 118 yards, one TD).

Fantasy Dud: Steelers running backs. If you've listened to the guys at SB Nation Fantasy, then you avoided Isaac Redman, Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Rainey. If not, you got no touchdowns, no back with more than 50 total yards, and Dwyer lost a fumble.

Gamblin': The Steelers were four-point favorites going into the game, so they obviously didn't cover.

injuries: The most significant injury of the game was Darrius Heyward-Bey, who took an absolutely vicious hit to the head from safety Ryan Mundy in the end zone. Heyward-Bey was moving his extremities and gave a thumbs-up to the crowd, so the absolute worst fears after an injury like that don't appear to be realized. Still, it was a scary moment, and it would be surprising to see DHB back on the field next week.

What's Next: The Steelers have a bye next week, after which they'll face the Eagles at home. The Raiders will go on the road against their division rival, the Denver Broncos, in Week 4.

The San Francisco 49ers, as they prepare to move from their longtime home at Candlestick Park to a new home in Santa Clara, announced Wednesday that they have a new founding partner for that stadium in data management company Violin Memory. The partnership between Violin and the Niners will be effective this season in Candlestick, the club announced.

Violin Memory will be the "exclusive data storage provider" of the 49ers and will have branding in the suite tower in exchange for helping build the technology infrastructure at the stadium, something that figures to be pretty important when all the coaches are sharing plays and information on iPads in the sideline at some point in the future (it will happen, trust me). Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.

"The 49ers are creating strategic partnerships with some of the world's most innovative companies to showcase a world-class fan experience," said 49ers CEO Jed York in a statement. "Our major stadium partnerships are built on a platform of sustainability and technology. Violin Memory is one of the first Founding Partners and the company's flash Memory Array systems will be critical to achieving our goals."

The partnership announcement did not include the news for which most 49ers fans are anxiously waiting — what the stadium will be called. This partnership announcement likely assures it won't be called Violin Memory Stadium, but nothing else.

Getty Images

The Raiders depth chart, barring injury, appears set in stone as the Silver and Black prepare for the upcoming season under the new regime.

The Oakland Raiders' depth chart doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles to it. The starters, like Darren McFadden, Carson Palmer, Richard Seymour and Michael Huff, are pretty much locked in. Barring injury or catastrophic performance in the last weeks of preseason practice, there doesn't appear to be anyone in danger of losing their job.

Part of that is because the Raiders didn't add many starters from the team that went 8-8 last year. They got rid of plenty — they cut Kamerion Wimbley, Stanford Routt and Kevin Boss — but, with the exception of the signing of Matt Leinart to be Palmer's backup and the acquisition of Mike Goodson for backup o-lineman Bruce Campbell, none of Raiders' offseason moves made the splash the late Al Davis loved making so much.

The two backups most closely watched will be the quarterbacks, as Matt Leinart and Terrelle Pryor have the name recognition nationwide the other second- and third-teamers don't. In the Raiders' disappointing 3-0 loss to the Cowboys, Leinart cemented his place as the second-stringer, and developed some chemistry with undrafted rookie Rod Streater that could earn the wideout a job (he had six catches for 66 yards). Pryor, well, I'll let Levi Damien at Silver and Black Pride tell you how he's doing:

I was pretty excited to see Pryor play in this game. Not just because we had never seen him perform in an NFL football game but because I was eager for the world to see the player I had been seeing in camp the past two weeks and prior. And he didn't disappoint, as expected. That is to say, he was disappointing. At least to those who had convinced themselves he was a sleeping super star as opposed to being a third stringer who has no shot at moving up the depth chart.

[...]

I have long said Pryor most closely resembles Tim Tebow and this game showed that. I mean, minus him running it for a touchdown. Pryor may "run like a deer" as Mike Mitchell put it, but he was more of a deer in headlights in this game. Too many times, he made one read and got happy feet. He finished 8 for 15 passing with the game ending interception for a QB rating of 32.6. I thought he would at least break out with a big play with his legs in this game but he didn't even do that.
