The San Francisco 49ers continued to build on their halftime lead and take a 24-3 advantage into the fourth quarter.
The 49ers got another quick score early in the second half thanks to a one yard touchdown run by Frank Gore. Gore capped off a five play, 66 yard drive that took a little under three minutes.
Quarterback Alex Smith continues to take apart the Buffalo defense. He is 17/21 for 293 yards and two touchdowns heading into the fourth. His QB rating is a near-perfect 150.5 so far.
Gore, meanwhile has 89 yards and a score on just 12 carries, good for an average of 7.4 yards per attempt.
Two San Francisco receivers have already eclipsed 100 yards on the day--Michael Crabtree has six receptions for 113 yards and a score, while Vernon Davis has 106 yards including a 53 yard grab.
San Francisco cornerback Chris Culliver picked off quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick midway through the quarter. It was Buffalo's second turnover of the day.
