Bills vs. 49ers inactives, NFL Week 5: Brandon Jacobs, LaMichael James continue to sit for San Francisco

The San Francisco 49ers declared inactive running backs Brandon Jacobs and LaMichael James once again. The Buffalo Bills will be without Cordy Glenn and Kirk Morrison.

The Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers are set to face off at 4:25 p.m. ET. The 49ers will be without a host of offensive players, while the Bills have a mixed bag of injuries at different positions.

Starting left tackle Cordy Glenn is out for Buffalo, as is right guard Kraig Urbik. A complete list of inactives for the Bills is below.

  • Tackle Cordy Glenn
  • Safety Delano Howell
  • Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson
  • Defensive end Spencer Johnson
  • Linebacker Kirk Morrison
  • Guard Kraig Urbik
  • Running back Johnny White

The 49ers will be without seven players as well, headlined by running back Brandon Jacobs, who injured his knee in the preseason. Jacobs had said earlier in the week that he hoped to make his season debut against the Bills.
