San Francisco's Joe Staley was the only player limited in practice on Thursday, as he sat out due to illness.
After being a game-time decision with a concussion last week, San Francisco 49ers left tackle Joe Staley was back on the injury report Thursday, but this time he missed practice due to illness.
Staley's status for the game against the Cardinals is still unknown, but he will have an extra day to recover as the 49ers do not play until Monday. He has started all seven games for San Francisco this season and has started the last 23 regular-season games. Staley has not missed a game since the final game of the 2010 season.
While Staley missed practice, every other 49er was a full participant on Thursday. That included running back Frank Gore and wide receiver Mario Manningham. Manningham was limited last week with a shoulder injury, while Gore suffered bruised ribs in Thursday's game against Seattle. Gore's injury was so painful, he was forced to sleep sitting up following the game.
