The San Francisco 49ers kept their position in the top five of three of the nation's power rankings
It's official, the San Francisco 49ers are the fourth-best team in the NFL.
Well, not really.
But three of the nation's power rankings all had them ranked at No. 4 last week and once again have them ranked at No. 4 this week. A disappointing loss and a dominant win will put people onto a level playing field right in the middle in terms of how to view your team.
ESPN mentioned how nine players combined for a 245-yard rushing total in the Niners 34-0 victory over the New York Jets.
CBS Sports talked about how what the Niners did against the Jets after being on the road for a week was impressive.
SB Nation pointed out the obvious joy the Niners had to feel after embarrassing the Jets a week following their disappointing loss to the Vikings.
The three undefeated teams - the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons - are the three teams ahead of the Niners in all three rankings.
