This week was disappointing for both the Raiders and Niners. However, some of the players were able to put up good fantasy numbers,

The Raiders went on the road and lost to a very good Falcons team on a last second field goal, whereas the Niners got blown out at home by the Giants. Let's see who helped their fantasy owners and who let everyone down.

STUD: Denarius Moore. He caught five passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. This was easily his best game of the year and he was clearly Carson Palmer's top target. He has battled injury this year and it has been a disappointing campaign thus far, but this may be a sign that things are looking up.

STUD: Darren McFadden. For much of the game he found it rough going against the stout Falcons front, but he ended up with 98 all purposes yards and a touchdown. Aside from the Steelers game this was his best performance so far. The offensive game plan seemed geared to try to get him into space at various parts of the field, and he broke a few longer runs in addition to catching three passes. The offensive line will not have to face John Abraham every week, so McFadden's fortunes also may be turning.

STUD: Oakland defense. In a stunning turn of events, the Raiders intercepted Matt Ryan three times sacked him once, holding the normally potent Falcons offense to 16 points at home, which is a good sign as the Falcons usually dominate in the Georgia Dome. Michael Huff and Tyvon Branch especially played very well. The Falcons have a superb offensive line and while they only sacked Ryan once, they pressured him consistently throughout the game.

And now the players who were complete wastes of starting spots.

DUD: The entire 49ers team. Nobody played well, everybody sucked and they completely failed at whatever they were trying to do, if in fact they were trying at all. Even David Akers missed two field goals. Alex Smith was picked three times. The team only rushed for 80 yards. It was a miserable day for everyone involved.
