Kings vs. Raptors results: DeMarcus Cousins powers Kings to 105-96 victory

DeMarcus Cousins played about as good against the Raptors Friday as a big man can play.

The Sacramento Kings easily handled the Toronto Raptors, 105-96, Friday to earn just their third road victory of the season.

DeMarcus Cousins led the way with a beastly game, wrangling in career-high 20 rebounds to go along with a season-high 31 points on 11-of-18 shooting. Cousins combined with John Salmons (20 points) to outscore Toronto's entire starting unit by 10 points. Kyle Lowry was the high-man for the Raptors with 24 points.

Things were pretty close for the first half before the Kings took it to Toronto in the third, outscoring the Raptors 28-10. Toronto made only three of their 21 attempts in the quarter while tossing six turnovers Sacramento's way.

The Kings are now quietly surging up the standings, winning six of their last eight following their most recent five game losing streak. Next up for Sacramento is a Saturday visit Brooklyn as the Kings look for some revenge for their 99-90 loss to the Nets from back in November.
