Rory McIlroy continues to win, and Tiger Woods continues to get stuck looking up. McIlroy had a spotless final round for the most part, piling up birdies on the second, fifth, ninth, 10th, 15th and 16th holes before putting up a bogey on 18. But it was more than enough to edge out Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson by two strokes. McIlroy shot a final round 67 to surpass Vijay Singh.
Tiger Woods came up short, shooting a respectable 68, piling up birdies on the second, eighth, 12th, 14th and 16th holes, along with a bogey on the sixth. Woods finished tied with Robert Garrigus at 17-under par in fourth place.
In terms of Bay Area golfers, Nick Watney finished with a final round of 74 and an overall score of three-under par. Charlie Wi had a final round 70 to finish at four-under.
