Giants Vs. D'Backs: Barry Zito, Patrick Corbin Face Off In Game 1

The San Francisco Giants return to AT&T Park after a successful road trip to take on the ir NL West rivals the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Barry Zito (10-8, 4.42) will take the bump, looking to turn it around after his last outing. He allowed three runs and seven hits in a season-low 2.1 innings on Wednesday. The Giants still won that game, and the last five of Zito's starts.

The Diamondbacks will counter with Patrick Corbin (5-6, 3.93 ERA), who is 3-1 with a 3.60 ERA over his last five starts. He allowed three runs in 6.2 innings against the Reds in his last outing, striking out eight along the way.

San Francisco still maintains a 4.5 game lead over the Dodgers in the NL West, and a 10.5 game lead over the third place D-backs.

First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
