San Jose State made a cross-country trip to face Navy on Saturday. They are leading at the half as they attempt to win their fourth straight game.

The San Jose State Spartans lead the Navy Midshipmen, 3-0, after one half of play in Annapolis, Md. The game's lone score came on a field goal from Austin Lopez.

That field goal capped an 11-play, 68-yard drive early in the second quarter. The Spartans have made three other trips into Navy territory, but have come away empty. The most recent ended at the Midshipmen 41 when quarterback David Fales was intercepted by Matt Warrick.

Navy's best drive came on their first of the game. The Midshipmen drove deep into San Jose State territory before quarterback Trey Miller gave the ball away on a fumble.

The Spartans should be leading by much more, as they have outgained Navy 202 to 76. The San Jose State defense has held the Midshipmen's option attack down, limiting them to 2.3 yards per carry.

San Jose State will receive the ball to start the second half.
