After the news came out that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith was fined for wearing a San Francisco Giants hat, some folks around the Bay thought it a bit ridiculous. One such person is Giants manager Bruce Bochy, who wore a 49ers hat during his pregame media session at AT&T Park Thursday afternoon to show some solidarity between San Francisco's professional sports teams.

As you can see, the hat doesn't quite fit. That's because Bochy wears an 8-plus sized cap, a size almost any hat stretcher would have trouble stretching to. Nevertheless, it's great to see franchises in the same city show mutual support for one another as both the 49ers and Giants look to bring championships home to the Bay Area this season.
