The dream of a threepeat in the Olympics is alive and well for beach volleyball masters Kerri Walsh-Jennings and Misty May-Treanor. The Stanford grad Walsh-Jennings is looking to win her third and final gold with her partner May-Treanor, who will be retiring after this games. Walsh-Jennings isn't quite yet ready to hang it up (or has yet to make an announcement of any sort), but it's unlikely she'll reach the same heights she enjoyed without May-Treanor playing with her.
Other important events today include the women's 100 meter hurdles, more action from the diving pool, the final individual events in gymnastics, and action in women's water polo and women's volleyball for the United States. Below is the full schedule for Tuesday's events on the NBC family of networks; all events will also be streamed online live at NBCOlympics.com, although it might be hard to access replays for some events until they're happening.
The entire schedule is Pacific Time.
4 a.m. - 8 p.m. (NBCSN)
Men's Field Hockey: South Korea vs. Netherlands (4 a.m.)
