Stay connected for news and updates

The San Francisco Giants have found themselves a winning formula despite the loss of Melky Cabrera, looking for their sixth consecutive victory on Saturday against the Atlanta Braves at AT&T Park.

Madison Bumgarner (14-7, 2.83 ERA) will be on the bump, which usually means good things for the Black and Orange. The left-hander's was on fire in his last start, allowing just four hits while fanning 10 in eight scoreless innings of a 2-1 win over the rival Dodgers on Monday in L.A. He is 4-2 with a 1.93 ERA over his last eight starts.

The Braves will counter with Mike Minor (6-10, 4.74), who is hoping to evade his fourth straight loss. He allowed one run and five hits in seven innings in his last start, but to no avail as they fell 5-0 loss to the Dodgers last Sunday. Minor has a 0.75 ERA in two starts against the Giants.

First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
