The San Francisco Giants have taken great advantage of a series with the Los Angeles Dodgers that has playoff implications written all over it.
Two games and two wins in, the Giants have taken the NL West lead out of the Dodgers hands. Wednesday's 7:10 p.m. PT game is just an opportunity to build some cushion between themselves and their division rivals.
The Giants have Matt Cain on the mound to face the Dodgers' Chris Capuano, and having won four of six since Melky Cabrera was suspended for violating the league's anti-drug policy, things aren't looking so bad.
