Salesian star guard Jabari Bird has eliminated Arizona, with Cal and Washington his favorites and Oregon and Colorado likely to get visits.

There have been two favorites that have been vying for Jabari Bird's recruitment this offseason. Although Bird is being recruited by a bunch of schools, his recruitment remains confined to the West Coast, with Arizona, Colorado, Cal, Oregon and Washington the five schools providing the only five offers we know about.

Two schools seem to remain propped above the rest for the services of the Salesian star: The California Golden Bears and the Washington Huskies. Bird has listed them as his leaders for awhile, and he probably figures to commit to one of those schools (although he will take visits to Colorado and Oregon as well). He eliminated Arizona earlier today according to Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star.

The elimination of Arizona is pretty big and might be tied into the commitment of Elliott Pitts, another Bay Area product. Pitts plays a similar position.
