The United States can add another gold to the medal count after the women's 4x400m relay team beat out all competitors in Saturday's final. They finished with a time of 3:16.87, their best time from the season. Russia was behind them by nearl four seconds, finishing with a time of 3:20.23, and Jamaica takes home the bronze medal after finishing with a time of 3:20.95.
The United States track and field program has now collected 29 medals (nine gold, 13 silver and seven bronze), nearly a third of the total earned by Team USA.
