The San Francisco Giants are fresh off a well-played road trip in America's heartland, but return to the City by the Bay to host the struggling Colorado Rockies in a three game set at AT&T Park.

This is another first vs. worst series, with the Giants sweeping the Rockies at Coors Field just last week. Colorado took two out of three against the Dodgers in their last series, while the Black and Orange will be looking to put even more separation between them and the second-place Dodgers.

Tyler Chatwood (1-2, 6.61) takes on Tim Lincecum (6-11, 5.43) in the series opener Friday. Chatwood's last start was against the Giants, lasting just 3.1 innings en route to a loss. As for Timmy, he's taken the W in his last two starts, allowing just two runs while fanning 10 combined. First pitch has been pushed back to 7:35 p.m. PTde as the team will unveil a plaque to honor Matt Cain's perfect game. Coverage can be found on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.

Drew Pomeranz (1-6, 4.76) faces Matt Cain (10-5, 3.01) on Saturday. Cain has been in a bit of a funk, taking the L in his last two starts, while Pomeranz has fared no better with only one win since July 6 to show for his efforts. First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.

Alex White (2-6, 5.75) squares off with Barry Zito (9-8, 4.19) in the series finale. Zito had another quality start against the Cardinals on Tuesday, giving up two earned runs over 6.2 innings for his ninth win this year. As for White, he pitched four shutout innings against the Dodgers in his last outing, taking a no decision. First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
