Darren Clarke will look to defend his Open Championship title against a field that includes a slew of golfers with Bay Area ties including Tiger Woods and Nick Watney.

The Bay Area will be well represented at this year's Open Championship as four golfers with Bay Area ties - including Tiger Woods - are among this year's competitors.

Darren Clarke is the defending champion and will look to defend that crown when he tees off at 9:09 am (2:09 am PDT) with Ernie Els and Zach Johnson.

Woods will try to add to his title collection at an event he hasn't won since winning back-to-back title in 2005 and 2006. He will start his attempt at another at 9:42 am (2:42 am PDT) with Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia.

Natives John Daly (7:25 am, 12:25 am PDT) and Nick Watney (8:58 am, 1:58 am PDT) as well as Stanford alum Tom Watson (9:53 am, 2:53 am PDT) will all be among the participants in The Open.

The Draw began on Sunday with the first round of practice tee times and will end on Sunday, July 22 with the crowning of a new Open champion.
