On Saturday night, both Bay Area drivers wound up with top 10 finishes in the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Jeff Gordon picked up his third straight top 10 finish in the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, coming in at fifth place to remain at No. 18 in the overall Cup standings.
AJ Allmendinger, meanwhile, finished in ninth place and will also stay put at No. 23 in the Sprint Cup points standigs. Brad Keselowski picked up the big win, taking home the checkered flag in his third win of the season.
Matt Kenseth remains the overall points leader, trailed by new Nos. 2 and 3 drivers Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Jimmie Johnson.
