49ers' Aldon Smith Stabbed At House Party

Aldon Smith, pass rusher for the 49ers, was stabbed at house party early Saturday morning.

Aldon Smith of the San Francisco 49ers was stabbed at a house party early Saturday morning, according to a report from Matt Maiocco. Two men were also sustained gunshot wounds at the party. The injury to Smith was not life threatening. The 49ers have released a statement on the incident. From team general manager Trent Baalke:

"We are aware that Aldon Smith incurred minor injuries during an incident last night. We are in contact with Aldon, and thankful that his injuries were not more serious and that he is recovering comfortably."

A first round pick in the 2011 draft, Smith was a strong defensive presence for San Francisco in his rookie year. He picked up 14 sacks and two forced fumbles.
