The Pocono 400 takes place on Sunday at Pocono Raceway as the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series continues. Bay Area drivers Jeff Gordon and AJ Allmendinger will be back at it, both attempting to improve their fortunes in what has been a lackluster year so far.
Gordon has a good placement in the starting lineup once again, slotted in at No. 12. There is no telling, however, whether Gordon's rotten string of luck thus far in 2012 will continue. Allmendinger is set to be No. 19 in the starting lineup.
The green flag is expected to drop at 10:19 a.m. PT on TNT. This is the first of six races that will be televised on TNT this season. There will be live streaming of the race today, which can be found at NASCAR.com's "RaceBuddy" site. If you'll be away from your computer and TV, check the Motor Racing Network's web site for a list of affiliate radio stations in your area.
