College World Series 2012 Schedule: Stanford Hosts Double-Elimination Regional

The Stanford Cardinal will host a double-elimination regional this weekend that will feature 1-seed Stanford, 2-seed Pepperdine, 3-seed Michigan State, and 4-seed Fresno State. The winner of the Stanford region will advance to take on the winner of the Tallahassee Region in a best-of-three series for a chance at the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

The action is underway at Stanford's Klein Field, and here's the schedule for the weekend. All games are broadcast live on ESPN3.

NCAA STANFORD REGIONAL SCHEDULE

Friday, June 1
Game 1 - No. 2 Pepperdine vs. No. 3 Michigan State (underway)
Game 2 - No. 1 Stanford vs. No. 4 Fresno State (6 p.m.)

Saturday, June 2
Game 3 - Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 (1 p.m.)
Game 4 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 (6 p.m.)

Sunday, June 3
Game 5 - Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4 (1 p.m.)
Game 6 - Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5 (6 p.m.)

Monday, June 4
Game 7 - Rematch of Game 6 (if necessary, at 6 p.m.)
