2012 Masters Payouts: Tiger Woods Earns $32,000, Nick Watney Top Local Performer

Bubba Watson managed a nice payout from the 2012 Masters. The total purse was $8 million overall, and Watson earned $1.44 million for the victory. Louis Oosthuizen finished in second place with $864,000.

How did each of the golfers with connections to the Bay Area fare? Things didn't turn out too well for Tiger Woods, finishing in a tie for 40th with a round of five-over par. Woods earned only $32k for a frustrating performance at Augusta.

  • Nick Watney managed a +3, tied for 32nd and netting $45,280.
  • Kevin Chappell finished six-over par, wrapping up with a six-over, grabbing $26,400.
  • Tom Watson missed the cut with a combined two rounds of 151, finishing at seven-over par. No golfer who misses the cut is eligible for earnings.
