The Masters 2012 Score Update: Tiger Woods Shoots Par On Saturday, Remains At +3

Tiger Woods, who entered the day at +3 and eight strokes back of the leaders, needed to make his move on Saturday if he hoped to have any chance of rallying for a 2012 Masters victory on Sunday afternoon. Despite a strong start, Woods struggled for most of the day and shot a 72 for an even par.

After making par on the first two holes, Tiger hit back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes. With momentum on his side and a large crowd following his quest along the course, many thought his big rally was coming. After shooting another par on No. 5, Woods bogeyed hole six. He shot one-over on No. 9 to bring him back to even for the day.

Woods made par on the rest of his holes, leaving him at +3 for the tournament. Lee Westwood now leads the field at five-under, meaning Woods' chances of winning The Masters are pretty much over.
