Stay connected for news and updates

The annual Big Sur Marathon starts tomorrow morning at 6:45 a.m. PT. The course time limit is six hours. Here is the hour-by-hour forecast for Sunday's race for the Central Coast. The marathon stretches along Highway One from Big Sur to Carmel.

All forecasted weather listed here is coming from the Weather Channel's website.

- Things should be cloudy between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. PT, with temperatures between 49 and 50 degrees and a 20% chance of precipitation.

- The weather will begin to warm up but should still be only about 56 degrees by 9:00 a.m. PT, by which time all races will have begun.

- By the time the marathon proper wraps up (around 1:00 p.m. PT), the weather should be ideal -- right around 70 degrees.

All in all, it will be a chilly morning along the Central Coast, but nothing that local residents won't be familiar with.
