After taking their first loss of the season last Friday night, the Stanford Cardinal baseball team looks to take back their No. 1 ranking, starting with St. Mary’s on Tuesday evening.

The Card (10-1) finish up a four-game road trip at Saint Mary’s (8-4) before hosting its third top-10 team of the season, No. 4-ranked Rice (11-1) for a weekend set at Sunken Diamond.

Despite dropping its first game of the season, the Cardinal still managed 25 runs over the final two games against Fresno with Brian Ragira leading the club with a .396 average while Stephen Piscotty has 21 RBI’s already this season.
