AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am 2012: George Lopez Explains His Love For Pebble Beach [VIDEO]

Stay connected for news and updates

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am has a long standing tradition of comedians taking part in the event, including such greats as Bob Hope and Jack Lemmon.

Nowadays there are a few new staple funny men at the annual tournament, including last year's Pro-Am winner Bill Murray, Ray Ramano, and the always endearing George Lopez.

George was kind enough to take some time during Wednesday's 3M Celebrity Challenge to speak with Comcast SportsNet Bay Area's own Jim Kozimor to discuess his love for this event and the surrounding area, as well as a bit about his upbringing and introduction to the game of golf.

Nothing is ever straight-forward with George though, always putting his funny spin on everything:

"Scotland was the home of golf, but this is the vacation home of golf."

Lopez didn't take home the cake during the Celebrity Challenge today, but still has a shot at the title come Sunday.
