Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors could not stop the Sacramento Kings and their hot three-point shooting, falling by a final score of 131-127.

The Golden State Warriors saw a two-game winning streak snapped as they fell to the Sacramento Kings in Sleep Train Arena by a final score of 131-127. Sacramento snaps their losing streak to improve to 8-17, while Golden State fell to 17-9 on the season.

The Kings took a 33-24 lead through the first quarter, and managed to hold on to make it 63-55 at halftime. They extended the lead to 99-88 after a high-scoring third quarter which saw 69 points scored, but the Warriors managed to make a go of it and briefly took the lead midway through the fourth quarter. However, they couldn't hold on, and Sacramento eventually rallied to retake the lead after making their free throws.

The Kings had seven players in double figures. Sacramento was led by DeMarcus Cousins, who put up 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Aaron Brooks added 23 points on only 12 shots. Marcus Thornton put in 19 points, John Salmons put up 17 points and six rebounds, Jimmer Fredette added 15 points, Isaiah Thomas put in 11, and Jason Thompson had a monstrous 15 rebounds to go along with 10 points.

The Warriors enjoyed great games from Stephen Curry (32 points on 11-of-24 shooting), David Lee (29 points and eight rebounds) and Jarrett Jack (28 points and seven rebounds), but Curry did foul out late, which could've been critical in swinging the game back in Sacramento's favor.
