Game 4 of the 2012 World Series between the San Francisco Giants and Detroit Tigers is set to begin at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. It's a win or go home game for the Tigers, who find themselves on the brink of elimination in a 3-0 hole.

The Giants will send ace Matt Cain to the mound against Detroit's Max Scherzer. Both pitchers had successful regular seasons, with Cain finishing 16-5 with a 2.79 ERA and Scherzer going 16-7 with a 3.74 ERA.
