Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a 98-88 preseason win over the Sacramento Kings to improve to 3-1.
The Golden State Warriors took a double digit halftime lead and held on for a 98-88 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors led 29-20 in the first quarter, 58-44 at halftime, and generally had the lead for most of the game.
Golden State was led by Stephen Curry, who shot 8-14 from the field and scored 19 points. David Lee had a double-double, grabbing 14 rebounds and piling on 16 points. Klay Thompson scored 15 points, Carl Landry put up 12 points and nine rebounds, and freshman Draymond Green added nine points.
The Kings were led by Isaiah Thomas off the bench with 13 points. Marcus Thornton had 12 points, Jason Thompson had 11 points and seven rebounds, DeMarcus Cousins had eight points and nine rebounds, and Aaron Brooks and Tyreke Evans added eight points each.
The Warriors improved to 3-1 in the NBA preseason, while the Kings suffered their first preseason loss, falling to 2-1.
