Stanford Vs. Washington, Final Score: Card Come Up Empty On Road Trip, Fall 76-63

The Stanford Cardinal were looking to salvage their Washington road trip on Saturday with a win over the Washington Huskies at the Alaska Airlines Arena. But behind Tony Wroten’s 21 points and Terrence Ross’ 18, the Huskies pulled away in the second half, earning themselves 76-63 win in the process.

Washington used 20-3 run including 13 straight points to run away with it in the second half, leaving Stanford in the proverbial dust while they move their way up the Pac-12 standings.

Josh Owens led Stanford (15-5, 5-3) with 14 points and nine rebounds, but it would be all for not as the Huskies (12-7, 5-2 Pac-12), bounced back from their loss to Cal on Thursday. Aaron Bright added 14 as well, while Dwight Powell added 10. Josh Huestis had seven from off the bench.

With the win Washington coach Lorenzo Romar reached his 300th career victory and 100th conference win with the Huskies.
