Stanford Vs. Utah, Final Score: Cardinal Earn Hard Fought 68-65 Win

Josh Huestis had himself his best game as a Stanford Cardinal Against the Utah Utes Thursday night, scored all 13 points in the second half to help the Card edge the Utes 68-65 at Maples Pavilion.

Josh Owens and Chasson Randle had nice games as well for the Cardinal (14-3, 4-1 Pac-12) each scoring 11 points while Aaron Bright added seven points and seven assists.

Chris Hines paced the Utes (4-12, 1-3) with a career-best 21 points while Josh Watkins added 14 points. Utah remains winless of the road this season.

Cedric Martin hit a three with 20 seconds left to cut the Cardinal lead to three. Randle hit a pair of free throws next time down but the Utes hit another bucket to make it 68-65. The Utes would miss two shots at a tie in the final seconds to ensure the loss, help the Card move up the Pac-12 standings.

Both teams shot an abismal 6-26 combined from the free throw line.
