2012 Pebble Beach National Pro-Am: Will Tiger Woods Team Up With Tony Romo?

Stay connected for news and updates

As the 2012 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am looks to get all of it's celebrities lined up for the upcoming event, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo may have himself quite the playing partner for this year's tourney, none other than Tiger Woods.

The Golf Channel's Jason Sobel tweeted earlier this month that Romo may be out to snag a 'high profile' playing partner, and it doesn't get much higher than Tiger Woods:

And as USA Today points out, Romo and Woods played together in Washington D.C. a few years back during the pro-am of the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club, and haven't really had a chance to play together since. Is it time for a reunion?

Personally, I'd like to see Tiger play with one of the staples of the tourney, such as Kenny G, just to see the awkwardness at play. But a Romo/Tiger team would be rather fun to watch as well.
