49ers Training Camp Rumors: Reggie Smith Ominous Tweet Suggests Injury

The San Francisco 49ers have suffered plenty of turmoil in their secondary lately. First Nate Clements signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. Carlos Rogers was signed to a one year deal. They've been shopping second-year safety Taylor Mays. Donte Whitner joined the team on a one-year deal. Dashon Goldson is not likely to be retained. There are so many things changing up in the Bay Area backfield.

Safety Reggie Smith could be the next person who enters this newscycle flurry. Smith's latest tweet sounded like very bad news for Niners fans.

Everything happens 4 a reason & I believe it. Just wished it wouldn't have happened right now. But with God on my side I know it will be OK

To make matters worse, Michael Erler of CBS Sports and Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee had some further words of notice about Smith from the 49ers head coach. Jim Harbaugh did say that Smith said he had "felt something", which translated into football fan speak means "Oh, dear God please no!"
