Hiram Eugene Dislocates Hip, Chaz Schilens Needs Reevaluation

Hiram Eugene had to be carted off the field after Cardinals lineman Deuce Lutui fell on top of his leg just after halftime. It looked like the trainers were trying to stabilize his knee, but the preliminary reports are that he dislocated his hip. If the diagnosis is confirmed, it could be two to three months before Hiram Eugene takes the field again.

Chaz Schilens, who was competing for a starting receiver spot, will have to have his knee reevaluated tomorrow. He’s suffered through an injury plagued career, so it’s another unfortunate setback for the wide receiver. He only played in five games last year, and half the season the year before. It’s unclear when exactly Schilens injured his leg.
