The 2011 NCAA baseball tournament kicks off on Friday June 3 with 16 regional brackets starting their games. Cal, Stanford and San Francisco are all taking part in this year's run to the College World Series, but only Stanford will be available for viewing on television and online.
ESPNU will be providing coverage of the Gainesville regional and the Fullerton regional. Stanford is squaring off with Kansas State on Friday and then will take on either the winner or loser of CS-Fullerton and Illinois. All six or seven games will be broadcast on ESPNU. For those that don't get ESPNU, ESPN3.com provides a broad range of coverage with a live online stream.
For the general baseball fanatic looking for any and all coverage of the regionals, ESPNU's Gainesville regional will include Florida, Manhattan, Jacksonville and Miami (FL). Additionally, ncaa.com is going to provide a live video stream of the Charlottesville regional. That will include Virginia, East Carolina, St. John's and Navy. They have not yet provided a link to that stream, but there will likely be a link at either the D1 Baseball page or the CWS Information page in the coming days.
